Feature Tip I sponge painted my bathroom starting out with an almost salmon colored base. Then I took an old tee shirt, wet it and scrunched it up and dabbed the wall with a taupe color. Then behind my old claw foot tub I had formica and I started out with a primer called KILZ, let it dry and taped it off in squares, then painted every other square. One off white and one with a mixture of the two colors I painted on the walls and a little white. I put the three colors in three different containers and dipped my brush in all three and dabbed it into the squares. It looks just like tile and the tiles look marbleized. Everyone who comes to visit me thinks I have installed new tile. It is beautiful.  I bought some towels at the dollar store and added fringe to the bottom and had our monogram put on them. I accessorized with monkeys and also added some black towels with gold trim.
